Approximate location — this spot is pinned to the nearest village, so the exact point may be a little way off.

A stack of broad granite slabs balances on a narrow base on Stowe’s Hill, above Minions on Bodmin Moor — the Cheesewring, weathered into shape so the wider stones sit on top and it looks ready to topple. It’s a straightforward walk up from Minions village across open moor, past an old quarry, with the Hurlers stone circles on the way.
