Mother church of the Anglican Communion, and the reason pilgrims wore a path along what is now the North Downs Way. The scheduled record here is the priory and the Archbishop’s Palace around it; the cathedral itself is open daily, with an admission charge and an annual pass that costs little more than two visits.
