Pwlldu Bay is a quiet shingle-and-sand cove at the foot of Bishopston Valley, banked up behind a storm ridge of pebbles. No road reaches it — you walk down the valley or along the cliff from Caswell — so it stays peaceful, with a couple of old cottages and no facilities. Pwll Du Head rises to the west.
