Traeth Llanddwyn is a long run of golden sand backed by Newborough Forest and one of the largest dune systems in Britain, looking straight across to the mountains of Eryri. From its western end you can walk out to the tidal island of Ynys Llanddwyn when the tide allows. Pay-and-display parking; Bodorgan station is about 6km north-west.
