A secluded sandy bay on the Borgue coast south-west of Kirkcudbright, tucked below low cliffs with good rock pools when the tide’s out. Coast paths run off along the headlands, so it works as a walk as much as a beach. It’s tidal and off the beaten track — bring what you need, as there’s little on hand.
