The Selkirk Arms is a former coaching inn in the artists’ town of Kirkcudbright, and it’s where Robert Burns is said to have written the Selkirk Grace, the short blessing still recited at Burns Suppers the world over. It does food and rooms, which makes it a comfortable base for wandering the harbour, the castle and the galleries.
