Selworthy is a cluster of limewashed, thatched cottages set round a green below Exmoor, built in the 1820s by the Acland family for estate workers. The white All Saints Church above looks over the Vale of Porlock towards Dunkery Beacon. It’s National Trust land, part of the Holnicote estate, and free to walk through. Allerford is just down the hill.
