Fintry has a remote feel for somewhere so close to Glasgow, set in the upper Endrick valley between the Campsie Fells and the Fintry Hills. The Loup of Fintry, a waterfall where the Endrick drops over a rock step, is a walk upstream from the village. A quiet, hill-ringed spot that draws walkers and cyclists.
