Eoligarry (Eòlaigearraidh) is a green machair peninsula at the northern tip of Barra, right beside the famous cockle-strand where scheduled flights land on the beach at Traigh Mhòr. There’s the old church of St Barr and a burial ground looking out to sea. A single-track spur runs up here past the airport — bring the tide times if you fancy watching a plane come in.
