Cille Bharra is a cluster of ruined medieval chapels at Eoligarry, in the north of Barra, dedicated to St Finbarr — the saint behind the island’s name. One chapel has been re-roofed and shelters a replica of a carved stone bearing both Norse runes and a Christian cross. A short walk from the road reaches the site and its old burial ground.
