Saxa Vord is the high hill above the north coast of Unst, once home to an RAF radar station. A track climbs to the top — Britain’s most northerly hill viewpoint — with a sweeping outlook over Hermaness and out to Muckle Flugga. It’s reputed to be one of the windiest places in Britain, so pick your day.
