Old Harry Rocks are the brilliant white chalk stacks and stumps at Handfast Point, where the Purbeck cliffs run out into the sea — the eastern end of the Jurassic Coast. They were once joined to the Needles on the Isle of Wight, before the chalk between the two eroded away. An easy, level clifftop walk leads out to them from Studland; keep well back from the crumbling edge. Swanage is a few miles south.
