A Greek temple marooned on Rum’s wild south-west coast: the Bullough Mausoleum was built for John Bullough, the cotton-machinery magnate who bought the island in 1888, and rebuilt in its columned form in 1892. Lady Bullough was laid here beside him in 1967. It stands at Harris Bay, a long walk across the island from Kinloch, where the CalMac ferry from Mallaig lands.
