Beecraigs sits up in the Bathgate Hills above Linlithgow, a working country park with a loch, a red-deer farm, trout ponds and miles of forest trail. There’s a play area and a café, and nearby paths climb to viewpoints over the Forth valley. Entry is free, with a parking charge. Linlithgow station is under 3km down the hill to the north.
