A roadside dining pub of 1790, the Ship Inn sits in the little village of Barnoldby le Beck on the Wolds’ edge south of Grimsby. It’s known for seafood and for an interior packed with antique bric-a-brac, and has taken county food awards over the years. Grimsby Town station is about 7km to the north-east.
