Reputedly the oldest pub in Stirling, the Settle Inn has been pouring since 1733. It’s a snug, low-ceilinged traditional bar on the steep climb up towards the castle, with a real fire and a little back snug. Worth ducking into on the way down from the castle and old town. Stirling station is only about half a kilometre away, downhill to the south-east.
