In 2012 the Hand and Flowers became the first pub in Britain to hold two Michelin stars, both won under Tom Kerridge, who opened it in 2005. Despite that, it keeps the low beams and unfussy feel of a Marlow local rather than a formal restaurant. Booking well ahead is essential. Marlow station is about a kilometre east.
