A large traditional coaching hotel on the main street in Kingussie, long used as a touring base in Badenoch and the Spey valley. The bar is comfortable and unfussy, and the station is just across the way, so it works well as a stop if you’re arriving by train to walk in the Cairngorms. For something more of a high-street local, The Tipsy Laird is nearby.
