RHS Garden Bridgewater opened in 2021 on the grounds of the lost Worsley New Hall at Worsley, the newest of the Royal Horticultural Society’s flagship gardens. At its heart is the vast Weston walled garden, one of the largest in the country, with a masterplan by designer Tom Stuart-Smith. There’s plenty still maturing across its 154 acres, so it should only get better. There’s an admission charge, and Walkden station is about 2km to the north.
