Amisfield is one of the largest walled gardens in Scotland — an enormous 18th-century enclosure on the edge of Haddington, brought back to life over the years by a volunteer trust. Inside the old brick walls you’ll find orchard trees, produce beds and long herbaceous borders. Free to wander on open days. Drem station is about 6km away.
