The Storehouse of Foulis sits right on the Cromarty Firth shore near Evanton, in a restored 18th-century, grade-A listed estate storehouse. Run by Clan Munro, it pairs a farm shop and restaurant with heritage and wildlife exhibitions. Open Monday to Saturday. The clan’s Foulis Castle Gardens are close by. Dingwall station is about 7km to the south-west.
