At this large farm shop at Bromfield, a couple of miles up the A49 from Ludlow, you can watch cheese, butter and bread being made through windows into the kitchens before carrying them to the till. The dairy turns out a dozen different cheeses using milk from the estate’s own cows, and the meat counter is stocked off the same farm. A café does lunch alongside. Ludlow station is about 3.5km to the southeast.
