St Patrick's Church, Patrington
St Patrick’s is known as the Queen of Holderness, a cathedral in miniature marooned among the flat fields south-east of Hull. Built almost all in one sweep of Decorated Gothic between about 1300 and 1400, it carries a graceful spire 175ft high on its central tower. If you’ve seen St Augustine’s over at Hedon, its King, this is the matching Queen — the two make a fine pair for a day in the flatlands. Open and free.
