Conwy’s parish church stands in the middle of the walled town, on the site of Aberconwy, the Cistercian abbey whose monks Edward I moved upriver to Maenan when he took the ground for his castle and walls. It keeps a medieval font and a carved rood screen. Right in the centre of Conwy, a minute from the station.
