St George’s at Trotton is worth the detour for its medieval art. A large wall painting of the Seven Deadly Sins faces you across from the door, and set in the floor is the brass of Margaret de Camoys, dated around 1310 and reckoned the oldest full-length brass of a woman in the country. Usually open. Liss station is about 8km to the north-west.
