Holy Trinity stands right beside Bosham’s tidal harbour, one of the most important Saxon churches in England and shown on the Bayeux Tapestry, where Harold is pictured praying here before he sailed to Normandy. A stone in the chancel floor is said to mark the grave of a young daughter of King Cnut, drowned in the millstream. Usually open. Bosham station is about 2km to the north-east.
