A ringwork castle once stood here — today it survives as earthworks in Herefordshire. It is one of two ringwork castles the Albion Guide maps in the county. Other castles nearby include Kilpeck Castle and Orcop Castle. The nearest railway station is Hereford, 9.8 km to the north.
