Big Sand is a wide, dune-backed beach a few miles round the bay from Gairloch, looking out to Longa Island with Skye and Raasay behind. You reach it via the campsite road off the A832; there’s a small parking fee. Quieter than Gairloch Beach itself, and a proper long stretch for a walk with the tide out.
