Bursledon Windmill is Hampshire’s only working windmill, a brick tower mill built in 1814 and restored to grind flour again after decades of dereliction. It’s the only English tower mill to keep all its original timber machinery. It opens as a small museum on limited days, so check ahead before setting out. Bursledon station is about 1.5km south-east.
