Andrew and Amy run Stonesthrow Sauna as a family business on Arran, and this is their most-used spot. Rustic steps lead from the sauna over a pebbly strip to wide sand and the sea, so you can dip at any tide; beach shoes help. Scandinavian Sauna handcrafted the unit, which seats eight. There’s no shelter or changing room, so come ready for the weather.
