Antreas and Erannan, brothers born in Finland and raised between there and Ireland, set up Niku-Naku so their own children could grow up with proper Finnish saunas. The Bala sauna stands on the shore of Llyn Tegid, the largest natural lake in Wales, next to the Byw’n Iach Penllyn leisure centre. Plunge into the lake between rounds, and ask the staff for more löyly, the Finnish word for the steam off the stones.
