The Tongue Hotel began life as a Victorian sporting lodge, and it still has the wood-panelled bar and country-house feel to match, looking out over the Kyle of Tongue. A characterful place for a dram after a day on the hills. The plainer Ben Loyal Hotel is the other option in the village.
