Talmine is a quiet sandy bay on the west side of the Kyle of Tongue, looking out towards the Rabbit Islands. It’s a gentle spot for a walk or a bit of kayaking, with an old jetty and a scatter of houses on the slope above the shore. A minor road off the A838 gets you there; it’s a long way from any station.
