The Sportsman looks like a plain weatherboarded pub on the sea wall at Seasalter, but Stephen Harris has cooked here to a Michelin star since 2008, using oysters, fish and salt gathered from the shore outside. It’s really a restaurant now, and booking well ahead is essential. Whitstable station is about 5km to the east.
