The Bonnie Badger is chef Tom Kitchin’s restaurant-with-rooms in Gullane, a smartened-up old coaching inn that’s made it onto lists of Scotland’s best pubs. Good for a long lunch after the beach or a round at Muirfield, with rooms upstairs if you fancy staying over. Drem station is about 4km inland.
