The Borrodale Hotel sits at Daliburgh in the south of South Uist, a hotel bar and restaurant that leans on local seafood. It’s an easy stop on the A865 spine road, handy if you’re heading for the Lochboisdale ferry a few miles east. South Uist connects to the rest of the island chain by causeway, so it makes a decent base for exploring either way.
