An Ruadh-Stac rises to 890 m (2,920 ft) in Highland. It is one of the 222 Corbetts — Scottish hills between 2,500 and 3,000 feet. The surrounding countryside is part of Wester Ross National Scenic Area.
The nearest railway station is Strathcarron, 6.3 km to the south. Nearby hills include Maol Chean-dearg and Beinn Damh.
