Eshaness Lighthouse stands square and white right on the clifftops of Northmavine, above the black volcanic Eshaness cliffs. You can’t go inside, but the car park beside it is the natural start for the clifftop walk, and the setting — a light perched on the very edge of Shetland — is hard to beat. One of the great island viewpoints.
