Llyn Cwm Llwch is a small glacial tarn tucked into the cwm below Corn Du, one of the higher Beacons summits. Old stories tell of an invisible fairy island somewhere on its water. A footpath climbs to it from the Cwm Llwch valley to the north, and many walkers carry on up to Pen y Fan from here. Boggy in places and a fair pull uphill, so decent boots help.
