Clynelish is a working Highland distillery above Brora, long prized as one of the backbone malts in Johnnie Walker blends. It opened a visitor centre in 2021, but owner Diageo announced in 2026 that it would close the centre, so check ahead before turning up expecting a tour. Brora station is a short way down the hill.
