Conical headland topped by a chapel.
At the tip of the Rame Peninsula, in the quiet south-east corner of Cornwall, a steep grassy cone juts into the sea. A tiny medieval chapel dedicated to St Michael stands on the summit above Whitsand Bay. Open access, with a car park back along the headland and a short pull up to the top, and long views along the coast towards Plymouth Sound.
