St Michael’s sits in Cwmdu, in the heart of the Black Mountains. The church was largely rebuilt in 1830, but it keeps the Catacus Stone — an early medieval inscribed memorial — set into the fabric. Usually open in the day, with The Farmers Arms close by if you want a pint after.
