The Elizabethan bench ends carved in the north transept are the reason to come to All Saints: saints, wild men and a St George spearing a dragon, worked in oak in the late 1500s and rated among the finest in the country. The church sits above the Teign estuary and is usually open in daylight hours. Newton Abbot station is about 3.5km west.
