A ringwork castle once stood here — today it survives as earthworks in Shropshire. It is one of twelve ringwork castles the Albion Guide charts in the county. For more of the same, Wattlesborough Castle and Alberbury Castle are close by. For arrivals by rail, Shrewsbury Station is 11.6 km to the east.
Full name: Ringwork and bailey castle 100m north east of Heath Farm
