Porth Joke — also called Polly Joke — is a small undeveloped cove between headlands west of Crantock, a short walk from the nearest car park and well away from the Newquay beaches. There are no facilities, just sand, dunes and a stream, which is rather the point. Reached on foot by the coast path; Newquay station is about 4km round the bay.
