A rambling old brewpub above Trevaunance Cove, a short walk down from St Agnes and its surf beach. The huge beams holding the place up were salvaged from shipwrecks — the “spars” of the name — and it has been a mine warehouse and sail loft in its time. It has brewed its own ales on site since 2000, so expect a few Driftwood beers on the bar alongside other Cornish guests.
