Giant sea stacks marching along a beach.
Approximate location — this spot is pinned to the nearest village, so the exact point may be a little way off.
A line of dark slate stacks stands across the beach below the cliffs at Bedruthan, on the north coast between Newquay and Padstow. Legend made them a giant’s stepping stones. You can walk the clifftop path any time for the view down; the National Trust steps to the sand are steep and close over the winter. Newquay station is about 7km down the coast.
