Abersoch’s main beach is the heart of the village’s sailing and watersports scene, a sheltered run of sand backed by a line of pricey beach huts. Dinghies and powerboats work the bay right through summer, and the water stays calm enough for families. Abersoch itself is just behind. Pwllheli, the nearest station, is about 9km to the north-east.
