Nefyn wraps round a long sheltered bay on the north coast of the Llŷn, looking across to the triple peaks of Yr Eifl. Round the headland at Porthdinllaen the Tŷ Coch Inn sits right on the sand, and the Cwrw Llŷn brewery is based in the village. Pwllheli station is about 9km to the south-east.
