Seaside hamlet with the Tŷ Coch beach inn.
Approximate location — this spot is pinned to the nearest village, so the exact point may be a little way off.
Porthdinllaen is a curl of old fishing cottages on a National Trust headland north-west of Nefyn, sheltering a calm sandy bay. Right on the beach stands the Tŷ Coch Inn, one of the best-known pub spots in Wales. You park above at Morfa Nefyn and walk round the shore or over the golf course — cars aren’t allowed down to the hamlet.
